Prof. Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Laureate, took part in a special conference in Brussels dedicated to the future of the European social economy and the role of social business in enhancing the EU’s competitiveness. The event was organized by CIR, together with UN Global Compact, THINKTANK centre and Yunus Chair in Poland, in cooperation with the European Parliament and its MEP Michal Boni, Lewiatan Confederation, as well as Microsoft, Totalizator Sportowy and KGHM (a global producer of copper and silver). The debate was held on 25th March under the umbrella of European Business Days.

Experts from the Centre for International Relations conducted a survey among Poles living in Great Britain in order to gain knowledge about their sense of belonging to their homeland. Conclusions were published in a report, which will help the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland in developing activities for the Polish community in the last wave of emigration. The most interesting statements have been assembled in short video clips that make up the collective portrait of the Polish community in the UK.
