In the first decade, the CIR was implementing projects concentrated first of all on issues connected with
- the European integration and the Poland’s membership in the EU,
- bilateral relations Poland-Germany, Poland-Russia and Poland-US,
- challenges resulting from the world migrations
- the important changes in the global international relations after the collapse of the Soviet Union and end of the “cold war”.
