The founding members of Mercosur: Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay warns Venezuela in an ultimatum way among concern over the country's human rights regulations, restrictions on the political opposition and failure to comply with trade rules. Canadian municipalities want the federal government to change the way it decides how much money cities should get for transit and water projects. The changes outlined in June to the federal infrastructure minister would potentially, if implemented, give more money to smaller communities to help them build a transit system or improve private septic systems. Municipal leaders are also looking to the Liberals to set aside a significant amount of money for social housing over the coming decade, and to continue funding up to half of eligible project costs to help cities more easily manage project expenses.

Brazil’s senate voted to oust Dilma Rousseff from the presidency on Wednesday, following an impeachment process with her suspend from the office since May. Sixty-one senators, seven more than the two-thirds needed, backed her removal from office, confirming interim president Michel Temer as the country’s leader.She was found guilty of moving funds between government budgets, which is illegal under Brazilian law. The amount of about $72.5 billion debt will be inherited from Mrs.Rousseff governing. Today the Prime Ministers of Canada and China have met in Beijing. It is the first official visit of Justin Trudeau in China. FARC actions included: drug trafficking, bombing, kidnapping which led to the designation of this organization as a terrorist group by both United States and the European Union. Negotiators seeking to end the five-decades-old bloody insurgency in Colombia said Wednesday they had reached a final peace deal in one of the world's longest-running conflicts. The announcement was broadcast live on Wednesday from Havana, Cuba, where peace talks have been held for almost four years. The conflict has killed an estimated 260,000 people and displaced millions. Representatives from the Colombian government and the FARC rebel group for last four years have struggled to reach a deal that would not only end the fighting but also address issues of land reform, curtailment of the drug trade, repatriation of victims' families and trials for those suspected of human rights abuses.
