Andrzej Turkowski, analyst at the Centre for International Relations, took part in a panel discussion during the informative training seminar "Doing Business in India - Doing Business in Poland". The conference was held in the context of the visit of a delegation of Indian businessmen and representatives of regional authorities from the state of Gujarat. The participants of the meeting discussed the development prospects of economic contacts between Poland and India. Much attention was also paid to the issue of Polish-Indian cooperation at a regional level.

Dr Bartlomiej Nowak, expert at the Centre for International Relations, is an co-author of the "Liberal Order in a Post-Western World" publication issued by the Washington Transatlantic Academy. It is an original contribution to the debate on the future of international politics during a time when the West's position is weakening, and the new emerging powers do not show a willingness to take more responsibility for the shape of global solutions. The authors of the publication, next to dr Bartlomiej Nowak, are: Trine Flockhart, Charles Kupchan, Christina Lin, Patrick Quirk and Lanxin Xiang. 

Antoni Wierzejski, Project Manager at CIR, Piotr Buras, director of the European Council Warsaw office on Foreign Relations (ECFR) and Adam Balcer from the study of Eastern Europe at the Warsaw University participated in a meeting organized by the European Forum for New Ideas at Lewiatan Confederation's HQ, which was led by Zbigniew Gajewski, EFNI Director. This was the first of a series of three press briefings prior to the forum. Subsequent meetings will be devoted to the perspective of implementing the strategic Europe 2020 programme as well as Europe's competitiveness.
