With the theme of "Creating New Dynamism, Fostering A Shared Future", this year’s APEC Summit will take place in Da Nang. The Summit will bring together APEC Leaders from the world’s most dynamic economies, speakers from the top global companies, international media moderators and over 1,000 CEOs from across the Asia-Pacific region. The program will feature three days of discussions, presentations and dialogue on a wide range of issues that promote economic dynamism and sustainable growth. Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation is an international forum created in 1989 to enable cooperation, trade and investment in the Asia Pacific region. 

It consists of 21 economies: Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, People's Republic of China, Hong Kong - China, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, The Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, The United States, and Viet Nam. Viet Nam has been an APEC member economy since 1998.
