On the surface it might seem that Poland and India don’t really have much in common. Poland, however, is much closer to India than it seems. Common features include smartness, resourcefulness and entrepreneurship. The 60th anniversary of cooperation between the two countries, which was recently celebrated, gives us the opportunity to reassess the relationship - write dr Małgorzata Bonikowska, CIR's President, and J.J. Singh, President of the Indo-Polish Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IPCCI), in the publication "Mini Dossier India - Poland", addressed to the Indian companies.
"Mini Dossier" was prepared by the CIR, IPCCI and THINKTANK centre for dialogue and analysis. The publication was dedicated to the business seminar "Make in India" which took place on 25th of January in the Embassy of India in Warsaw. Dr Małgorzata Bonikowska, J.J. Singh, Ajay Bisaria (Ambassador of India to Poland), Lucyna Jaremczuk (Ministry of Development of the Republic of Poland) and Maria Nowakowska (Polish Chamber of Commerce) were among panelists during the event.
The seminar was organised a day before the Republic Day, the national holiday of India.
