Dr Małgorzata Bonikowska, president of CIR and Paweł Rabiej, member of CIR's Board, participated in a meeting with the ambassadors of the ASEAN countries accredited in Poland (Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam). The talks focused on the current situation in ASEAN and the establishment in 2015 of a single market of 10 members of the organization. On the south-eastern corner of Asia, a strong economic community is growing, which, in 2015, will establish a common market of over 600 million consumers. For several dozen years, members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) have been strengthening their cultural, economic and political cooperation. This process accelerated in the recent years and may also mean new opportunities for Poland and Polish companies. The meeting took place on July 31st in Warsaw.
