Turkish government started to work on new constitution – as „Sabah” informed. Prime Minister of Turkey – Binali Yildirim told, that Justice and Development Party (AKP) together with Republican People’s Party and Nationalist Movement Party from opposition agreed to insert certain changes. According to Prime Minister, the work on a new constitution is „an aim and duty” of all political parties in Turkey. Binali Yildirim also added that one of the changes in the constitution will be a transfer of Coastal Guard and Turkish Gendarmerie from Ministry of Defence to the Ministry of Interior. Earlier, the Turkish government agreed on 60 amendments to the new constitution, but according to Yildirim continuation of this process stopped.
