A few days ago Prime Minister of Tonga - Samuela ʻAkilisi Pohiva - came to New Zealand. He met there with John Keys - Prime Minister of New Zealand. Those counties have a strong relations because of significant Tongan population in New Zealand. The main goal for Keys’s Government is supporting Tonga by aid programme and also developing this country by foreign investments. Mr Pohiva was invited to Government House in Auckland on 28th of July. During his visit Mr Pohiva took part in ceremony at Auckland War Memorial Museum and visited Tongan workers in Nelson who are part of the Recognised Seasonal Employers scheme.
