Newly released emails from Hillary Clinton's tenure as secretary of state raise questions about the nature of the department's relationship with the Clinton Foundation. Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, released 296 pages of emails from the Democratic presidential nominee, including 44 that Judicial Watch says were not previously handed over to the State Department by Clinton. The emails, many of which are heavily redacted, raise questions about the Clinton Foundation's influence on the State Department and its relations during her tenure.
She gave an interview to NY Times about that: “I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified material. So I’m certainly well aware of the classification requirements and did not send classified material.”
At the same time, she blames her opponent Donald J. Trump for interconnection with Russian hack services. “We know that Russian intelligence services hacked into the DNC,” Clinton said, in her first interview with Fox in more than five years. “And we know that they arranged for a lot of those emails to be released and we know that Donald Trump has shown a very troubling willingness to back up Putin, to support Putin.”
Her running mate Tim Kaine expresses optimism that she could improve her trust deficit with voters over the next month. Mr. Kaine suggested that more voters might trust Mrs. Clinton “even a month from now,”
