South Sudan  - the world's youngest country - fell into a bloody civil war right after its declaration of independence in 2011. Deadly fight already has killed tens of thousands of people and it still does. The main side effect of those battles is reaching amount of refugees and citizens who are affected by current instable situation. They live in constant danger. Especially people who are originally from Sudan and other foreign countries. They are the most often victims of rebels’ activity.

UN representant said on Friday that at least 300 people have been killed in four days of intense gun battles in the capital of South Sudan and 42 000 have fled the city. Only on 15th of July dozens of Sudanese women and children arrived in Khartoum from Juba. This could be possible thanks to Sudan new policy concerning the evacuation of its nationals. Also since Wednesday chartered planes have been taking foreign nationals out of the country.

At first security forces concentrate on women, children and the least strong citizens like elderly people. This is only the beginning of more complex evacuation plan. Officials said that Sudan would organize three to four flights a day to bring its nationals home.

There are two main groups which are involved in recent intense battles. Soldiers loyal to President Salva Kiir fight against former rebels backing Vice President Riek Machar. Conflict still continue to rise and any idea of cease-fire appears to be impossible to reach. The conflict has been marked by dreadful and drastic rights abuses, including gang rapes, the burning of villages and cannibalism.
