Alexander Grims, born in the Netherlands in 1991, is currently finishing his double-degree master in European Governance at Utrecht University and the University of Konstanz. He is writing his master thesis on the Polish political affairs surrounding the EU refugee relocation mechanism during his internship at the Centre for International Relations. After attaining his Bachelor in Sociology in 2014, he extended his academic pursuit by specializing in minor programs of Conflict Studies, Economics and Public administration. He has a special interest in the Middle East region, EU integration and state-level participation in EU affairs.
