The Kingdom of Morocco - the most stable state of the European South - is economically, historically and culturally linked with Europe. It actively promotes cooperation on the continent, positioning itself as a liaison between Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa. Among the advantages of the Moroccan market are: its stable economic and political situation, extensive trade, foreign investments, its strategic location, an extensive network of free trade agreements with other African countries and a significant presence of Moroccan companies in neighboring countries. At a conference in Warsaw organized by Bank Zachodni WBK and Santander Group the speakers emphasized, among others, how active Moroccan banks are, with AWP, which operates in Maghreb and Central-Western Africa, being the most active.

The need to strengthen the Polish-German cooperation at the level of local government is often listed as the most important challenge of contemporary relations between the two countries. The problems which governments on both sides of the Oder face are far from grand politics created between Warsaw and Berlin, and are rather solved at the level of local cooperation, focusing on current affairs. This cooperation is also part of the internal European regional cooperation, which is one of the pillars of the European Union. On 16-21 November the largest Polish economic event in recent years took place on the American west coast. The event was organized in cooperation with a group of Polish institutional partners (ministries of foreign affairs, science and higher education institutes, economic and environmental resorts). The Polish delegation, headed by Undersecretary of State, Katarzyna Kacperczyk, was accompanied by more than 150 representatives from companies, research institutes, universities and organizations involved in the implementation of innovative projects. Among them were THINKTANK and the Center for International Relations.

Iran and Poland not only have several century-old relations in common, but also a pragmatic society and seeking to exploit opportunities of the present. One of them is economic cooperation. Poland is looking for new partners and markets, Iran has a chance to return to the international economic bloodstream. The Germans, the French, the British, but also small Lithuania which has a higher turnover with Iran than Poland, all know this. It is high time for Polish products to appear on this 80-million market, as it was in past centuries.

The Europe of the future must be "smart" and implement innovative projects that will lead to development and structural changes rather than fixing what used to be till now - says dr Małgorzata Bonikowska, CIR's president, in an interview for Dziennik Zachodni. Infrastructure investments are important, because, for example, thanks to good communication not only domestic business is developing, but also foreign investments, and Poland is gaining increasing export and international traffic for our country.

The dispute concerns Radosław Sikorski's legacy and isn't really between the PiS and PO parties. There are many, especially on the left side of the political spectrum, who argue that the Eastern Partnership was a mistake from the beginning, it turned out to be a failure and de facto led to the war. I would like to recall that when it was created, none of today's critics raised objections. Besides, the EP was a direct response to Sarkozy's Mediterranean Union. Without the EP, not a soul in the EU would sacrifice time to the East. 

If 38 states have announced a vote on the minimum wage, of which 15 have already voted on it, the benefits of health insurance are slowly beginning to be appreciated, emphasis on limiting access to weapons is increasing, and by implementing regulation Obrama is liberalizing the law on immigrants, then Republicans should definitely adjust their party's program to the reality in which they live. In all crucial aspects, public opinion leans towards the solutions proposed by the Democrats.
